Responsibilities
Manage and ensure proper execution of SEO strategy
Communicate regularly with clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
Cross-channel collaboration on client strategy and success
Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and development
Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
Provide SEO analysis and recommendations for technical elements and structure of websites and web pages
Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
Develop strategies for clients to appear in multiple SERP features (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, images, faq)
Develop link building strategies
Implement and administer technical SEO programs (Schema, XML sitemaps, Site Speed/Core Web Vital Optimizations)
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
Be an SEO leader within the SEO team and provide mentorship and cross-training where you see opportunities
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Some agency experience is mandatory for this role
Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, Moz, Screaming Frog)
Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration a plus
High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or the Google Suite
Expertise with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Must be able to articulate SEO strategy to client with advanced communication and presentation skills
Must have exceptional time management skills
Needs to be very responsive to email communication from all clients
Some agency/freelance experience required
