Traditional Broadcast Buyer & Operations Coordinator (Freelance)
OpAD Media is an independent New York-focused media planning and marketing solutions firm. They are seeking a Freelance Traditional Broadcast Buyer & Operations Coordinator to support their Traditional TV & Radio team, focusing on coordination and execution of media buys while managing communication across various teams.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain flowcharts and process documentation for traditional TV and radio workflows
Track timelines, deliverables, and key milestones across campaigns
Determine and document campaign goals, input and manage goals within SBMS
Serve as a central point of contact to organize and distribute information across teams
Complete and maintain Excel summaries for campaigns, schedules, and goals
Package Excel summaries and BDRs for internal review and external sharing
Maintain organized records of contracts, communications, and campaign documentation
Alert buyers to key updates, deadlines, and changes
Manage and distribute trafficking-related emails and communications when coverage is required
Coordinate information flow between planning, buying team, client, and vendors
Coordinate trade contracts, including documentation, negotiation support, and signature tracking
Ensure all agreements are properly executed and stored
Plan, negotiate, and execute local broadcast television buys to meet client objectives and budget parameters
Analyze ratings, pricing, and inventory availability to develop effective and efficient media schedules
Build and optimize schedules to maximize reach, frequency, and performance within assigned markets
Monitor campaigns throughout their flight, proactively addressing pre-emptions, makegoods, and delivery issues
Ensure schedules are pacing appropriately and make real-time adjustments as needed
Understand traditional broadcast processes well enough to provide coverage support for trafficking and related operational needs when required
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2+ years of local broadcast buying experience
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Knowledge of Freewheel a major plus
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment (if applicable)
