Responsibilities

Serve as the primary, hands-on developer responsible for full lifecycle software delivery, from requirements through deployment and support

Design, build, and maintain applications, integrations, and reporting solutions that support internal business operations and decision-making

Work directly with technical leadership and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable technical solutions

Modernize and extend existing systems while also contributing to greenfield initiatives and platform transitions

Champion best practices around code quality, documentation, and lightweight process standards in a growing engineering function

Required

6–8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solutions

Strong proficiency in at least one core language such as Python, Java, or C++, plus experience working in modern cloud or platform environments

Proven experience gathering requirements directly from business users and communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, approachable way

Background working across the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance or optimization

Self-directed, collaborative problem solver who is comfortable operating as a solo or lead developer in a fast-growing, family-oriented organization
