Responsibilities

Develop concise subject matter briefings (also known as backgrounders)

Act as a learning-focused participant in client work, including helping to coordinate logistics for meetings, project updates and overall team communication

Assist with conducting intelligence gathering, social media monitoring, and the research process

Closely collaborate with research and insights team, cross-client etc

Participate in internship training programs and with support from Purple colleagues, produce and present internship project

Required

Interns must be a college junior, senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months) with strong communication and critical thinking skills and be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

An open and demonstrated interest in the field of public policy, public affairs, communications, research and/or a similar career area

Fundamental writing and research skills

Strong organizational skills and time management

Ability to present ideas and information clearly and strong verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively on projects, while also being comfortable working independently

Proficiency with MS Office tools

Experience working within Mac environment is a plus

Social media platform management and reporting knowledge, is a plus
