Responsibilities

Provides assistance and research in regard to prices quoted in the electrical area

Services systems via phone or site visits when Service Technician is unavailable

Designs prints for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to customer specifications

Checks electrical switches, pneumatic fittings and hydraulic fittings

Designs layout and wiring of electrical panels and machines

Designs, installs and debugs programs in microprocessors

Prepares electrical boxes for the assembly department

Assumes responsibility for outsourcing the building of electrical boxes

Oversees and assists in building controls and enclosures

Assumes responsibility for in-house training and the majority of programming for machines and PLC’s

Creates a bill of material for purchasing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components

Assumes responsibility for troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components

Ensures that machines are programmed and debugged for customer safety

Attends all regularly scheduled production meetings

Make service calls when necessary

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
