Responsibilities
Uphold ElectriCom’s safety commitment in all actions and as a foremost way of thinking
Maintain and repair Aerial Devices, Digger Derricks, and other utility construction equipment
Determine overall condition of machines through inspections
Diagnose issues with hydraulic and electrical systems
Replace required components to restore equipment to working order
Exhibit positive and effective interaction with other ElectriCom employees, vendors, and customers
Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work
Routine Training as assigned (LMS, OSHA-10 hour, etc.)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in diesel engine and hydraulics (experience could be substituted for schooling)
Candidate will provide their own tools
Must have valid driver license, CDL is a plus
Must pass a background check and have a good driving record
Must be able to comprehend, complete, and forward daily activity report logs electronically
Must have the ability to read, write & interpret documents such as safety rules, operation & maintenance instructions, and service, parts, and procedure manuals in English
Excellent time-management skills
Preferred
Graduate of a Trade School in diesel mechanics preferred (schooling could be substituted for experience)
