Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and deliver annual activation plans across four key brand communication pillars
Drive consumer engagement through comprehensive annual plans that leverage paid, earned and owned media
Oversee omni-channel media planning & buying with a continuous improvement approach to optimizing the buy through rigorous performance analysis methodologies
Manage and deliver local activation plans and media customized for our communities
Deliver by achieving measured set of business and brand development KPI's
Oversee the development of the strategic vision for Food Lion's hunger relief program, Food Lion Feeds and comprehensive activation plan including financial and performance measurement
Develop a relationship with our key partners that are essential to helping serve those who are food insecure
Member of the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation and provides strategic oversight in their programs
Provide strategic updates and progress regularly to internal and external stakeholders
Engage with the Food Lion Leadership Team to gain their support and participation in key activities
Coach and develop a team of ~15 marketing professionals

Required

Bachelor's Degree
10 years' experience and proven success developing and executing Consumer marketing strategy and plan
Ability to build and lead teams through the development of strong working relationships and alliances within the company
Ability to lead teams to ensure strategic initiatives are met and KPI's are delivered
Ability to lead the development of direct reports through coaching and developmental feedback; ensures development plans are in place
Ability to present and lead conversations throughout all levels of the organization
Deep knowledge of consumer relations and marketing including demonstrated ability to create a positive impact through these programs for the Brand
Moderate travel: 30% or as needed

Preferred

Strong collaboration and integration with key stakeholders, including CR partners, civic leaders, community influencers, agency partners and others
Demonstrated consistent ability with time management and attention to detail
Seasoned level of knowledge for company, business and industry practices
Perfected ability to manage an internal team and create strong personal growth plans
Master's Degree
