Responsibilities
Develop, review, and implement calibration procedures for a wide range of instruments and measurement systems
Perform calibration, adjustment, testing, and certification of equipment to meet internal specifications and industry standards
Ensure calibration activities are executed accurately and within defined schedules
Analyze calibration and measurement data to identify trends, deviations, and out-of-tolerance conditions
Investigate equipment issues and measurement inaccuracies; recommend and implement corrective actions
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to calibration and measurement systems
Maintain accurate and complete calibration records, reports, and documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements, including ISO, GMP, and internal procedures
Support audits and inspections by providing calibration documentation and technical explanations
Utilize Regulatory Asset Management software, specifically Blue Mountain RAM (BMRAM), to: Track calibration assets, Schedule calibration intervals, Manage work orders and documentation, Ensure data integrity and accuracy within asset management systems
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Validation teams to optimize calibration processes
Support equipment qualification, validation, and process improvement efforts
Participate in projects aimed at enhancing calibration methods, tools, and system reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Prior experience in calibration, quality engineering, or measurement systems within a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience developing and executing calibration procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience troubleshooting measurement and equipment issues
Experience working with calibration management or asset tracking software
Knowledge of ISO, GMP, and quality system requirements
Preferred
Experience working with Blue Mountain RAM (BMRAM) preferred
