Responsibilities
Assist in smooth and efficient donor flow
Determine donor acceptability
Perform sterile venipuncture for the collection of blood
Provide excellent customer service
Ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures throughout the donation process
Oversee and assign responsibilities/duties to collections staff
Involved in the following staff processes; interviews, discipline, performance reviews, hiring and terminations
Effectively and discreetly solving personnel and donor problems
Addressing procedural or behavioral problems
Making verbal or written reports to management
Attend and/or complete annual leadership/development training resources
Mentor/assist with on the job development of new hire employees
Participate in special projects or programs
Regular full time attendance is required during operational hours
