Responsibilities
Design mechanical components and systems for new transformer products
Develop testing processes and validate prototype performance
Build working prototypes for internal and customer demonstrations
Lead R&D and product development activities aligned with safety, cost, and quality targets
Perform engineering calculations, including seismic capacity verification
Create and review bills of materials, drawings, and technical specifications
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and contractors
Maintain thorough project documentation and support timely execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of industry experience
Work authorization to be employed in the United States
Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, and relevant international standards
Strong communication, technical, analytical, and project‑management skills
Preferred
Experience with PTC tools (Creo, Windchill) and mechanical simulations preferred
Background in electromechanical product development or transformers is a plus
