Marketing Project Manager
Bars & Recreation is a Milwaukee-based company operating a diverse portfolio of entertainment brands. The Marketing Project Manager will support day-to-day marketing efforts across digital, social, and on-premises channels, assisting with content creation, graphic design, and campaign coordination.

Responsibilities
Participate as Bars & Rec’s chief storyteller/influencer/documentarian. Be on camera, showcase venue personalities, give “behind-the-scenes" looks, and capture the process of making projects come to life through social media
Create engaging social content that converts attention into action (reservations, foot traffic, etc.)
Establish Bars & Rec venues as “the place to be in Milwaukee”
Draft and schedule social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) in alignment with the content calendar
Engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and tags
Monitor social trends and suggest creative ideas for reels, stories, and campaigns
Assist in the design of marketing materials, signage, digital graphics, and social media content using Adobe Creative Suite and similar design tools
Resize and reformat creative assets for use across platforms (print, digital signage, social media, email, etc.)
Support content collection efforts, including scheduling photo/video shoots and organizing media libraries
Create effective email & SMS (text) marketing to retain and reactivate our audiences
Produce newsletters and promotional emails (copy writing, layout, and scheduling)
Maintain and update email lists and segmentation for targeted communications
Assist in managing media relations to expand brand Bars & Rec’s visibility and authority
Assist with drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts, and event announcements
Help maintain media contact lists and track press coverage
Coordinate media opportunities including influencer visits, interviews, and promotional giveaways
Assist in planning and executing on- and off-site marketing campaigns and brand activations
Help coordinate logistics for events, promotions, and seasonal installations
Track campaign metrics and contribute to reporting efforts
Provide general support to the marketing department, including tracking projects, managing deadlines, and organizing assets
Support project management and ensure campaign deliverables are on time and on brand
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or applicable field of study
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a professional marketing job with social media responsibility
Must have experience with social media management platforms
Must be proficient in video production, photography, and graphic/creative design
Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Mac platform preferred); specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Lightroom and AfterEffects
Must have experience in a professional hospitality setting
Must have excellent communication skills, especially writing
Must have excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills
Must be able to work independently and contribute in a team environment
Must have (or be willing to obtain) personal transportation and a personal cell phone
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work in a fast-paced environment
Must have open availability and be able to work days, nights, and weekends
Must be able to read, understand, and follow the Bars & Recreation Employee Handbook
