Internámaxa is a nonprofit organization focused on connecting high school students with impactful projects. They are seeking a Blog Writer Intern to contribute to their blog on social impact and global issues, helping to shape the organization’s voice and communicate their mission.

Responsibilities
Write original blog articles on topics related to social impact, global issues, youth leadership, ethics, education, and related themes
Pitch thoughtful article ideas aligned with ámaxa’s mission and audience (primarily high school and university students)
Conduct light research to ensure writing is accurate, nuanced, and credible
Revise and edit your work based on feedback from the ámaxa team
Collaborate with the team to develop the long-term voice and direction of the blog
Occasionally contribute to other written materials (e.g. program stories, student spotlights, newsletters) as needed
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated passion for social impact, global issues, or education
Strong writing skills and a clear, thoughtful voice
Ability to communicate complex topics in an accessible way
Openness to feedback and willingness to revise work
Preferred
Experience with blogging, journalism, creative writing, or academic writing
