They are seeking an Education & Training Director to design and manage the entire learning ecosystem, including external education for financial advisors and internal training for staff.

Responsibilities

Design and build a CE course catalog covering self-directed retirement accounts, alternative asset custody, compliance requirements, and investment strategies relevant to our target audience

Present courses yourself - on camera for recorded content and live for webinars and in-person sessions

Manage CE credit approval processes with relevant credentialing bodies (CFP Board, state professional associations as applicable)

Develop and maintain AET's internal training academy, ensuring new hires and existing staff have clear onboarding and ongoing education pathways

Create supporting materials including slide decks, handouts, assessments, and reference guides

Collaborate with the Creative Producer on course recording, editing, and production quality

Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging topics that warrant new course development

Gather feedback from advisors and internal staff to continuously improve course content and delivery

Required

5+ years of experience in financial services education, training, or a client-facing role where you regularly explained complex concepts to advisors or investors

Deep knowledge of retirement accounts - IRAs, Roth IRAs, solo 401(k)s, SEP IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs, and the rules governing contributions, distributions, rollovers, and prohibited transactions

Strong presentation skills with experience delivering live training, webinars, or conference sessions

Comfort on camera and ability to deliver polished, engaging recorded content

Experience developing curriculum or training programs from the ground up

Understanding of CE credit requirements and approval processes for financial advisor designations
