Responsibilities
Process, reconcile, and maintain GL accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Support month-end and year-end close cycles, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Track, analyze, and report on product and operational costs across production, shipping, and storage
Provide actionable insights into cost variances, efficiency improvements, and margin enhancement
Assist the Controller in preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, and offering recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing) to interpret cost data and support budget planning
Identify opportunities to streamline GL and cost accounting processes and improve automation
Ensure adherence to internal controls, standard operating procedures, and GAAP requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, cost accounting, or similar roles, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain settings
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting systems
Detail-oriented, methodical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
Preferred
CPA or Cost Accounting certification
