Responsibilities
Preparing initial drafts of business organizational documents for attorney review, including operating agreements, shareholder agreements, bylaws, stock plans, consents, resolutions, and corporate minutes
Preparing initial drafts of a wide range of commercial contracts for attorney review
Assist with entity formations and compliance
Managing deadlines, calendars, and client intake
Maintaining and improving internal systems and templates
Communicating with clients, vendors, and agencies
Qualification
Required
3+ years of business/corporate law paralegal experience, with an excellent working knowledge of corporate and LLC law statutes, case law, and documents
Excellent academic credentials
Outstanding references
Strong legal reasoning, writing, oral communication, and research skills
Business sense and ability to think strategically
Positive attitude
Ability to develop and nurture our clients' confidence, trust, happiness with, and desire for our firm's services
Open to feedback at all levels
Demonstrated skills of poise, diplomacy, and tact
