PMHNP - HMHI OP Research Park Clinic
University of Utah Health Research is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for their Huntsman Mental Health Institute Clinic. The role involves providing psychiatric care, diagnosing, creating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing psychotherapy to patients either in clinic or remotely.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include performing mental health evaluations, diagnosing, creating treatment plans, triaging, making referrals when appropriate, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary treatment team, prescribing medication, providing psychotherapy and safety planning
Qualification
Required
Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Must hold a valid registered license in the state where they intend to practice as an advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse and have successfully completed ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP -BC)
Preferred
2 years of ambulatory mental health experience is preferred
