AIA Austin is a collaborative and fast-paced boutique studio seeking a Junior Project Architect. This role involves leading the architectural development and management of residential projects from design through construction documentation and administration.

Lead the architectural development and management of smaller residential projects from design through the production of construction documents and construction administration, or lead a piece of a larger project

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential architecture in a variety of project types, lake front and luxury condominium preferred

Extensive knowledge of architectural principles and practices, building codes, regulatory compliance, construction processes and project documentation standards

Proven ability to produce detailed construction documents through all project phases to maintain alignment with quality, technical standards and design intent

Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, engineers, and contractors, to align on project objectives and standards

Skilled in developing work plans, building and managing project schedules, budgets and resources

Highly organized and detail oriented

Superior client service skills to support and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction

Exceptional design sensibility and presentation skills

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite required

Bachelors' or master's degree in architecture is required
