Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum 10 years of experience with design of mechanical systems for mid level engineer
Experience working on DOE federal projects
Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of mechanical calculations
Proficient in Word and Excel
Good writing, presentation and communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks if needed
Professional Engineering license required
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Thermal-hydraulic and design modification experienced desired
Relevant energy system design experience (e.g., HVAC, Hydraulic, Piping) preferred
Software experience (AFT FATHOM / ARROW / IMPULSE, AutoPipe, HVAC Heat Load / Air Flow) preferred
