Responsibilities

Provide the required project management, cross-functional coordination, inter/intra team communications and leadership engagement to deliver outstanding program outcomes
Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other engineering teams to drive high-quality products and features through the product life-cycle (e.g., scope, develop, build, test, and release on time)
Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders and leadership
Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a changing environment
Lead several technical programs for the Google Cloud, setting priorities for products and engineering, leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics are informing future efforts, and quickly fine tuning the program as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience with managing infrastructure on cloud platforms
Experience with one or more of these technology areas (e.g., CPU, storage, network, accelerators)

Preferred

5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
5 years of experience in a software focused program management and in the business technology market in IaaS, cloud computing or emerging technologies
Experience partnering with development managers to facilitate the design and delivery of products
Ability to drive successful technical program outcomes from idea to launch within various professional contexts
Ability to craft compelling, audience-tailored messages by blending technical acumen with accessible language to deliver memorable and impactful narratives
Ability to translate technical concepts into plain language for business stakeholders and communicate business objectives effectively to technical teams
