2026 Annual Conference: Web Coordinator

Digital Collegium is seeking a Web Coordinator for their annual conference, who will work as part of the marketing and communications team. The role involves overseeing the conference website, ensuring compliance with web best practices, and meeting the web needs of attendees.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of a conference-themed email marketing template
Ensure that the sitemap is complete and that content for determined pages is available and accurate
Update web front-end content and assets as needed
Coordinate with platform team, executive director and event platform support on the website theme and to integrate any appropriate systems or technology
Ensure good usability, accessibility and user experience for site visitors
Format conference website content using established web and SEO best practices, including headings, links and metadata, as appropriate
Recommend design or content additions or improvements to help reach stated goals
Coordinate with the analytics and assessment coordinator to support data collection needs related to website usage and conversions. Ensure conference website analytics and tracking are implemented and functioning properly
Promote the conference through personal social media and professional networks
Update the website with any information as needed
Assist with conference setup (AV, bag stuffing, etc.)
Attend all committee meetings
Ensure that post-event conference session materials are posted in a timely manner
Help transition the website content and architecture to a post-event structure
Facilitate an environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds

Required

Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (including HTML and CSS) and accessibility standards
Working knowledge of web best practices, including usability, accessibility and basic SEO formatting
Membership in the association (including free general membership), which can be fulfilled at application
Ability to adhere to deadlines

Preferred

Knowledge of Swoogo event management system
Ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
Past volunteer experience
Ability to work with project management/team communication platforms such as Slack, Clickup, etc
Google Drive proficiency
