They are seeking a Product Data Management Specialist to develop, analyze, manage, and ensure compliance of process and product baselines for complex products, while also coordinating technical design reviews and audits.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to develop, analyze, manage, and verify compliance of process and product baselines for complex products

Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products

Analyze complex product trades and changes, developing technically complete change proposals

Contribute to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, and tools

Define and allocate Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle

Coordinate the integration of product elements and resolve issues with engineering product structure

Develop, integrate, and implement engineering technical program plans, including impacts, risks, and lessons learned across multiple engineering functions

Required

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education

Experienced, Level 3: Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Lead, Level 4: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Senior, Level 5: Typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. 'US Person' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility

Preferred

Experience substantiating product compliance with performance and functional (FCA) requirements and with physical/design (PCA) requirements

Experience building, assessing, and auditing ADAB (As Designed As Built) configuration

Familiarity and experience industry standard EIA-649

Experience conducting supplier audits, assessing supplier quality systems, and driving corrective actions to closure through supplier nonconformance resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
