Actively represent clients in courtroom hearings

Argue cases before the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court

Review your calendar and prepare for scheduled hearings or depositions

Draft motions

Offer strategic advice and ensure clients remain informed and confident in representation

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Licensed to practice in Rhode Island and in good standing with the state bar

1-5 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims and/or insurance defense matters

Proven ability to manage a caseload independently, while meeting deadlines and court requirements

Must be comfortable in a courtroom setting and arguing before the RI Workers' Compensation Court, with demonstrated ability to handle hearings independently; ability to think quickly is essential

Excellent communication skills for maintaining ongoing client relationships and providing strategic legal advice

A professional demeanor, ethical judgment, and a strong commitment to client service and results-driven representation
