Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure supporting large-scale data platforms

Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments

Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation for provisioning, testing, and deployment

Build tooling, dashboards, and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance

Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform services

Partner with application, data, and ML teams to support platform needs and unblock delivery

Work directly with internal customers to understand requirements and guide them on best practices for using the platform

Qualification

Required

8+ years of programming experience in Python or Java

5+ years of experience operating large-scale infrastructure systems in cloud environments

MUST have AWS experience

MUST have deep scaling and operating experience in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)

Preferred

Experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks

Big data experience with a mainstream open-source framework (e.g. Terraform/Crossplane, Prometheus)

Experience with IaC fundamentals and monitoring solutions
