They are seeking an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure quality through automation and testing frameworks, working closely with product teams to develop and maintain testing infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities
Work together with product managers, agile product owners, architects, tech leads and engineers to ensure the quality of our products
Participate in technical discussions for products and test infrastructure
Execute Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions
Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, coding standards, etc.)
Participate with developers in writing prolific test case code using Ruby, PHP, Java, Go, etc
Build and maintain efficient test frameworks and pipelines for performance, stress, and integration tests
Work in an agile model as part of a team to develop fully automated test cases for functional, unit, and integration testing
Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, implementation, automation, execution, maintenance and analysis
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, covering functional, system, integration, and regression testing
Proficient programming experience (1-3 years) in a relevant language such as Go, Python, Java, or an equivalent web-focused language
Proven experience in developing robust test automation for Backend and API services
Strong knowledge of backend API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of software testing principles, database concepts (SQL/NoSQL), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Experience with various testing methodologies, including client/server, white-box, black-box, and boundary/negative testing
Excellent test design skills, including test case development, automation scripting, and defect analysis
Experience with shell scripting for command-line tool utilization
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Travis)
Preferred
Hands on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenStack
Familiarity with open source software
Linux OS system management experience + Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux, etc
Operational knowledge of Drupal or any content management system in a production setting
Working knowledge of Kubernetes/docker/containers
