Qualification
Required
Successful completion of a full-time training course of approximately a year's duration in a medical or clinical laboratory assistant (or technician), or successful completion of an associate degree course of study of which the 2nd year of the 2-year program included successful completion of a training course of approximately a year's duration in a certified laboratory assistant school approved by a nationally recognized accrediting agency that included instruction in chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and microbiology (including serology), or Bachelor's degree of Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) in which the program included instruction in chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and microbiology (including serology)
Current, valid certification from American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society of Clinical Pathology – Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT)
Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
A minimum of one year of recent, relevant, related experience
All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders
Preferred
Current, valid, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
Fluency in Spanish is highly desired but not required
