Operations - Director of Operations
Angry Chickz is a growing restaurant brand, and they are seeking a Director of Operations to drive operational excellence and team development across all locations. This role involves overseeing daily performance, managing financials, and leading a team to ensure brand standards and guest satisfaction are consistently met.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily performance across all restaurants to ensure operational excellence, guest satisfaction, speed of service, and food quality
Set clear performance expectations and hold teams accountable to company standards
Review and analyze financials, including P&L, COGS, labor, and controllables, implementing action plans to improve results
Proactively manage prime costs and ensure stores consistently meet or exceed budget targets
Create effective communication channels between restaurants, District Managers, and the Support Center
Recruit, train, develop, and coach District Managers, General Managers, and emerging leaders
Build a strong leadership pipeline through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and succession planning
Foster a high-performance culture grounded in positivity, accountability, and our Angry Chickz values
Ensure training programs for MITs, new hires, and ongoing development are executed consistently
Actively participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of DMs and GMs
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Team, providing insights to guide company growth
Lead operational readiness for new store openings, working closely with the Support Center, NRO, and Construction teams
Develop and execute operational strategies to support expansion into new markets
Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and business reviews as needed
Ensure operating systems, policies, and brand standards are consistently taught, followed, audited, and corrected when needed
Ensure restaurants deliver the signature Angry Chickz guest experience—fast, friendly, and crave-worthy
Participate directly in store operations during visits to support training, service, and overall execution
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, profitability, and team engagement
Partner with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, IT, Training, and Marketing to align operational strategies with company goals
Support the rollout of new products, promotions, and company initiatives
Provide real-time operational feedback to guide decisions that impact the field
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5–8 years of progressive multi-unit restaurant leadership, ideally within high-volume QSR or Fast Casual concepts
Strong financial acumen with proven ability to analyze P&Ls, identify issues, and drive performance improvement
Demonstrated success leading large teams across multiple locations
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment experiencing rapid growth
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Deep knowledge of restaurant operations, labor laws, and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Toast POS, and restaurant operations systems
Ability to travel up to 60–70%, including overnight travel
