Human Resources Administrative Professional (In Office)
Optimum HR is a recognized leader in providing human resources services to small and midsize companies. They are seeking a full-time HR Service Administrative Professional to support the HR department and their clients with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
Collect and distribute Optimum mail
Answer, help, and/or transfer client service line calls
Manage the HR email inbox
Review client service voicemails
Verification of employment/E-verification
Background check processing
Minimum wage updates
Terminated employee and client case closures
State new hire reporting
Post client communication/newsletters/announcements
Government required client reporting (EEO-1, BLS, CA Pay, etc)
Unemployment claim processing and audits
Labor law poster ordering and billing
Training platform - monthly training enrollments, follow up and completion
WC Poster bi-monthly review and mailing
Backup support for Payroll Support and Administrative Professional
Assist with additional projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong organization and time management skills with high attention to detail
Ability to complete projects independently during set work hours with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines
Ability to take initiative and use good judgment
Excellent written (i.e. writing, grammar, etc.) and oral communication skills (i.e. ability to deal effectively with others, speak professionally on the phone, etc.)
Team player that embraces Optimum's core values
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred and 1 plus years of Human Resources or office experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
