Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. They are seeking a Billing Supervisor to oversee the workflow of the billing department, train Billing Specialists, and ensure timely and accurate billing processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Billing Specialists on weekly, bi-weekly, and ensure that monthly billing cycles are completed for all states

Review and analyze claims and denials

Initiate and support Billing Department for claim appeals when necessary

Prepare billing summary reports for the Billing Director for all claims submitted each week

Inform the Billing Director and other applicable managers if submitted revenue is below the weekly average and report any problems that have arisen during the week

Generate and distribute correspondence and report to assist in the collections process

Perform Billing Clear duties as needed to assist the billing team

Prepare other clerical or supervisor duties as assigned

Deliver excellent communications across the organization, both written correspondence and verbal

All other duties as assigned

Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
