Responsibilities
Evaluating, underwriting, and analyzing commercial loan applications and participation loan purchases
Ensuring sound credit decisions that align with the Credit Union's risk appetite and regulatory requirements
Assessing financial statements, tax returns, and collateral
Preparing credit memos and recommending approval or denial of loan requests
Supporting business lending growth while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Coordinating and analyzing annual loan reviews for the existing commercial portfolio
Working with the Credit Union's third-party business loan servicer
Qualification
Required
Minimum of four years prior lending experience
Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and compliance requirements
Cash flow analysis
Experience in business lending, loan participation, consumer, real estate, vehicle and personal lending at a bank, credit union or other comparable financial institution
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings which consist of drug test, background check, and credit check
