Center For Sight is seeking an Optical Technician responsible for fitting and selling eyewear and contact lenses. The technician will address patient needs, troubleshoot vision concerns, and ensure accurate lens prescriptions while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

Listen and address needs of patients as evidenced by company standards and policies

Trouble shoot concerns about patients’ vision and eyewear as evidenced by patient needs

Explain features and benefits of new lens technology and frames

Able to neutralize and inspect for accuracy prescription lenses with a lensometer

Identify wanted and unwanted prism as evidenced by the written prescription

Navigate insurance websites to assist patients with the available benefits and cost associated with their plan

Dispense and adjust patient’s eyewear based on patient needs

Adherence to applicable laws, regulations and contractual obligations. Follows the principles of the Compliance Program as well as the Code of Conduct
