Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipelines including extraction, transformation, and loading into Google Cloud Platform data warehouses
Perform data analysis and apply statistical methods to generate insights
Develop and execute code within development environments and perform validation and testing before deployment
Prepare change lists for peer review and manage code deployment across UAT, preproduction, and production environments
Develop and maintain ETL and ELT data pipelines using custom and third-party systems
Design, build, and maintain full stack data and BI solutions including extraction, storage, transformation, and visualization
Use SQL and Python to build and maintain data analysis scripts
Support dashboards and reports using Google PLx and Looker Studio
Enhance existing business intelligence tools and develop new dashboards
Monitor system performance and implement infrastructure optimizations
Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data
Perform data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning for large datasets
Build data models that support business intelligence and reporting needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualification
Required
Six to eight years of professional experience in data engineering or business intelligence
Strong experience in building and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform data warehouses
Strong SQL and Python skills
Experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning
Experience developing dashboards and reports using Looker Studio or similar tools
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-velocity environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
