Executive Director | Chicago Low-Income Housing Trust Fund
Chicago Women in Philanthropy is seeking an Executive Director for the Chicago Low-Income Housing Trust Fund. The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational management, and financial oversight to ensure access to stable, quality, safe, affordable housing for low-income individuals and families in Chicago.
Responsibilities
Reports to an appointed Board of Directors
Serve as the Chief Executive of CLIHTF responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and financial oversight
Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide low-income individuals and families in Chicago access to stable, quality, safe, affordable housing by investing in rental subsidies and affordable housing projects throughout Chicago’s communities
Navigate tight budgets and coordinate a strategic response in partnership with the Board of Directors, City, State, and CLIHTF staff
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience
Bachelor's degree
Working knowledge of equitable housing opportunities
Experience working in community-focused environments
Experience navigating tight budgets
Experience coordinating a strategic response in partnership with the Board of Directors, City, State, and CLIHTF staff
