PROGRAM AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
USAJOBS is seeking a Program and Administrative Support Specialist at Scott AFB. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Directorate's training manager, individual mobilization augmentee program coordinator, resource advisor, and senior administrative support assistant.

Responsibilities
Training Manager. Develops an Annual Training Plan (ATP) for Director approval. The ATP incorporates all Directorate training requirements for military personnel and civilians
Resource Advisor. Independently performs task involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports. Establishes, maintains, and updates expenditures relative to funding activities
Administrative Duties. Develops, establishes, updates, and maintains clerical and administrative office procedures and processes of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office
IMA Program Coordinator. Administers the individual mobilizations augmentation program for assigned reservists and non-assigned volunteers
Oversees the Directorate's performance report and the awards & recognition programs. Ensures Directorate personnel are aware and comply with policies, procedures, and requirements for officer/enlisted/civilian performance reports

If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations

The employee may be required to work irregular shifts/duty hours and overtime, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position
Personal data, to which the incumbent has access, are controlled by the Privacy Act of 1974 and must be safeguarded appropriately
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems
Knowledge of management principles, organizational theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation
Knowledge of standardized administrative practices and procedures to conduct studies of clerical work processes
Knowledge of administrative regulations and operating procedures plus skill in applying fact-finding and investigative techniques
Knowledge of established management principles, pertinent administrative regulations, and staffing guidelines
Skill in preparing and delivering briefings to managers on study findings and recommendations
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
Combination of specialized experience and education that meets the qualifications for this position
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible
Knowledge of the military organizational structure, protocol, and similar matters
Knowledge of service-based programs and objectives, processes involved in military and civilian training programs
Knowledge of a wide range and skill in applying accounting & financial policies, regulations, practices, procedures, precedents, methods, and techniques
Knowledge in the application of procedures, methods, and techniques which support the analysis and administration of the financial and MPA/RPA budget
Skill and ability to collect information from readily available sources, accomplish a basic analysis, draw a conclusion, and make a recommendation
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing using tact and courtesy
Ability to use various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents
