They are seeking a Part-time VAK Field Service Representative to provide technical equipment advisory and support for SOCCENT in Iraq, including mentoring military personnel and assisting in the development of operational concepts.

Responsibilities

Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)

Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)

Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment Coordination with RBT (SOG) headquarters for specialized program support

Required

Must have an active and current Secret clearance (or a higher level)

Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)

Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)

Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment Coordination with RBT (SOG) headquarters for specialized program support

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant work experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience

Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Retired or former Special Operations soldier

5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity

Recent combat experience

Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism goals

Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Point

Ability to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision

Must be able to transport a 35 pound load with no assistance

Availability for CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

Excellent motivation skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with administration, customers, and employees
