Workforce Development Trainer
Merakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services. They are seeking a Workforce Development Trainer to support students with disabilities in preparing for and completing a paid internship, delivering essential work-readiness training and managing internship logistics.

Responsibilities
Provide work‑readiness and self‑advocacy training to students
Coordinate all internship logistics, including working papers, payroll setup, and stipends
Recruit and maintain employer partners for paid internship placements
Support students during their internships and address site‑related concerns
Communicate regularly with students, families, schools, DVR, and employers
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with grant requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
Organized, flexible, and committed to supporting student success
Preferred
Knowledge of Pre‑ETS services or youth workforce development
Experience with onboarding processes (tax forms, payroll) is a plus
