Responsibilities

Independently execute •in vivo• studies to support preclinical characterization and evaluation of our programs using xenograft tumor models
Conduct hands-on •in vivo• experimental procedures including: dosing (intravenous , subcutaneous and intraperitoneal); caliper tumor measurements; blood and tissue collection, processing and analysis by flow cytometry; and bioluminescent imaging
Assist with •in vitro• tumor cell line expansion
Independently analyze, summarize and interpret experimental data
Collaborate and communicate with other scientists to align on key deliverables
Comply with IACUC regulations
Assist with vivarium operations, as needed
Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of study data and maintain scientific documentation in an electronic lab notebook

Required

BS (8+ years), MS (4-6 years) or PhD (0-4 years) in Immunology or a related life sciences field
Ability to execute technical procedures under minimal supervision with a high degree of integrity, consistency, and rigor, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Intrinsically motivated, with a willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience handling immunodeficient mice, with demonstrated expertise in techniques including intravenous tail vein injection, bioluminescent imaging, subcutaneous tumor implantation, intraperitoneal dosing, caliper tumor measurement, blood collection (terminal and non-terminal), cell culture, tissue harvest, and tissue processing and cell analysis by multicolor flow cytometry
Fluency with Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, Living Image and FlowJo
