Avanti Residential is a company focused on community service and personal growth. They are seeking a Service Technician Floater responsible for maintaining the appearance and operations of various properties, performing repairs, and responding to emergency maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs

Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner

Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities

Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements when possible

Manage Snow removal (CO, KS, UT) or Hurricane Preparation and Clean up (FL)

Demonstrates strong customer service skills and maintains clear, professional communication with residents, vendors and team members

Reliable transportation

Shared emergency on call rotation with other communities

1+ years of relevant experience required

Written, verbal, and oral communication skills

Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment

Pass criminal background screening prior to employment

Possession of a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required

If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment is required

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED preferred

OSHA, EPA, and CPO license/certifications preferred
