Lee Health is a high-volume Internal Medicine practice located in the stunning Bonita Bay Lifestyle Center. They are seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide excellent customer service and support for patient business activities within the practice.

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service in a team-based environment for all aspects of patient business activity within the Practice/Department

Handling telephones, patient appointment scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, authorization, pre-certifications, referrals, and posting charges

Initial collections, preparing well-coded and accurate billing and maintenance of medical records

Managing the business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health and corporate accounts as needed

Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department

Required

High School Diploma or GED Required

Less than 1 Year Clerical/Administrative required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required in Employee Health and may also be required at other locations within 90 days of hire

Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills

IT/computer proficient

Basic math

Preferred

Insurance/Customer Service preferred

Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing helpful
