2+ years expBronx House is seeking a Memoir Writing Instructor for a new intergenerational program. The Instructor will independently design and facilitate twelve one-hour memoir writing workshops for older adults, using creative prompts and published memoir excerpts to inspire participant writing.

Responsibilities
Independently plan and lead twelve (12) one-hour group memoir writing sessions
Develop original lesson plans, writing prompts, and select published memoir samples
Provide group instruction and individualized feedback during sessions
Collaborate with Bronx House staff to support participant engagement and program goals
Assist with attendance tracking and participant progress documentation
Participate in recruitment or program events as agreed upon in advance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or related field OR equivalent professional experience as a published writer
Minimum of two (2) years' experience working with older adults
Experience teaching or facilitating in an educational or community-based setting
Ability to engage participants from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach
