AMP Residential is seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Viva at New Smyrna Beach. The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition, ensuring high levels of customer service and overseeing maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs

Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service

Assists in organization and assignment of service work orders at the Maintenance Supervisor's direction

Follow preventive maintenance guidelines

Maintain property grounds

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests

Team work to achieve property goals

Follow safety procedures

Assists in maintaining inventory, required company logs, orderliness, and safety of tools, equipment, supplies and maintenance shop

Assists with mentoring and training other grounds and maintenance technicians at the Maintenance Supervisor's direction

Required

Facility Maintenance; 5 years in a similar industry with 3-5 years in a supervisory role

Valid Driver's License with auto insurance

Hard worker with the ability to problem solve, experience with quality control, vendor/contract management

HVAC Certified *required*

Excellent customer service with resident focus

Experience leading a team while being a team player

Extensive knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, water heaters, a/c units, furnaces

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, be available for on-call purposes, and have the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary
