Electrical Engineer - EEE Parts Engineer

Cimarron Inc. is a global solutions company seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the Axiom EVA program. In this role, you will manage Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts across multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Evaluate EEE parts and compare against screening and qualification requirements
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to select COTS and MIL-SPEC avionics
Ensure compliance with spare components, parts maintainability, and obsolescence requirements
Author and maintain the EEE Parts Standard
Assess EEE parts against program screening, selection, and qualification requirements
Monitor space and commercial industry advisories and support mitigation actions
Represent Avionics as an EEE Parts engineering SME
Support EEE parts processes through development and production
Present for approval various non-standard parts to internal and external control boards
Perform reviews of screening, qualification, and DPA data as required
Establish and maintain effective working relationships across engineering disciplines, including avionics, propulsion, payloads, power, and related subsystems

Required

10 or more years of related experience
Experience with EEE Parts procurements and screening
Understanding of EEE Parts processes and requirements
Ability to work effectively across engineering disciplines
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related)

Preferred

20 or more years of related experience
Familiarity with NASA-STD-873910
Experience working in the aerospace industry
