Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented New Store Development Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience of the commercial Real Estate industry. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge and collaborate cross-functionally while supporting day-to-day activities in the real estate transaction process.

Responsibilities

Support multiple internal stakeholders through all phases of the real estate transaction process

Track and monitor key project milestones, dated and deliverables from site identification through final lease execution

Coordinate and support external communications and relationships with external partners

Assist with various tasks related to existing store portfolio management and property management related issues

Escalate issues or delays that may affect deal / project timelines to the appropriate team members

Assist with facilitating various lease documents including amendments, letter agreements, consent/waivers, etc

Support Ad Hoc Real Estate driven projects as they arise

Qualification

Real Estate knowledgeAnalytical skillsMicrosoft Office SuiteCommunication skillsDetail oriented

Required

Currently enrolled in sophomore or junior year and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, majoring in Business, Real Estate, Retail Management, City/Government Planning, or a related field

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with large data sets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Smartsheet is a plus

Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively

Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team
