The Hybrid Wholesaler within the RIA channel is responsible for driving sales and growth in assigned regions, cultivating relationships with clients, and promoting TCW's Asset Backed Finance products.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all existing clients and advisors and ensure that their needs are understood and served
Drive sales with prospects and existing clients into TCW’s Asset Backed Finance products. This would include consultative selling, assisting client needs to promote new products, retaining legacy holdings and significantly growing and cross-selling strategies
Assess client needs, educate, and promote the value proposition of the firm's new products and solutions. Gain a sophisticated understanding of each platform’s home office approach and portfolio construction and listen actively when collaborating with clients
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and advisor needs to inform strategy development and product positioning
Follow up on Internal Sales Desk leads, gather feedback on products, market trends, and services, and communicate findings to shape product development and strategy
Work with other Hybrids, Internal Sales, and External salespeople to maximize impact
Provide regular updates to senior management on RIA channel performance, market insights, and business development initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or a related field
Minimum of three years of experience in sales or business development within the asset management industry, with a focus on RIAs preferred
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing business
In-depth understanding of the investment landscape, products, and the specific needs of advisors
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Client-focused with a strong drive to achieve results
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset
Relationship-builder with a high degree of professionalism and integrity

Preferred

Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) or relevant certification (e.g. CFA) is a plus

Benefits

In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
