Regional Sales Manager

SSI SCHAEFER is a leading material handling company that’s been in business since 1937. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop and maintain accounts, achieve sales quotas, and foster strong customer relationships within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accounts in assigned territory
Achieve monthly & yearly sales quotas for multiple products and services
Create an action plan of how to accomplish sales quotas in the assigned sales region
Educate leads and customers on the benefits of SSI's Products and Services
Document customer information, quotes, and prospect details in SAP database
Develop reports and proposals and deliver sales presentations
Assist in project management and help resolve service-related problems
Professional, dependable, and punctual
Assess client's needs and recommend the appropriate goods or services
Fulfill assigned tasks & complete projects as directed by the Sales Manager
Develop business in the assigned territory
Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to generate the required sales opportunity pipeline to meet sales targets
Reach sales targets focusing on assigned territory
Generate leads, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into orders
Creation of optimal solutions that deliver customer benefit based on SSI Schaefer's solution portfolio
Foster and maintain strong customer relationships
Negotiate contract and close the deal according to company guidelines
Maintain Salesforce, forecast, and other admin to support a successful sales organization
Results-oriented and highly motivated with a positive attitude
Superb organization, time management & record keeping skills
Curiosity to learn and understand new products, technologies
Analytical, critical thinking, listening, and problem-solving skills
Able to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Ability to position our products in identifying the unique selling points

Required

Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the material handling industry
Proven B2B sales experience in industrial sales within the industry
Proficient in CRM software (SalesForce), Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent negotiation, joint business planning, and organization skills
Proven new business development results in a similar role
High motivation for sales activity, working toward targets and KPIs
Strong Communication, Presentation, and Solid Leadership skills
Ability to travel within the all US territory
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License
