Responsibilities
You will be a member of a team designing AWS-specific hardware and software
You will be a part of the development effort from conception through production
You will explore emerging technologies and their impact on AWS
You will work closely with the AWS engineering teams to tailor devices for the AWS environment
Qualification
Required
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
