Responsibilities

Facilitates the preparation of capital budget request memos and supporting exhibits
Provides project analytics, data validation and reporting for quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term planning for Apartments Division capital investment
Prepares recurring and ad-hoc capital spend/project-level reporting and analyses
Maintains data integrity of project-level data within the Portfolio and Project Management System (PPM) on the SAP platform and associated Business Intelligence reporting data model
Interprets and manipulates large datasets from multiple data sources in order to build financial models and reporting packages

Required

Supports the Capital Planning & Analysis team of the Irvine Company Apartments Division with capital budget request processing, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
Facilitates the preparation of capital budget request memos and supporting exhibits
Provides project analytics, data validation and reporting for quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term planning for Apartments Division capital investment

Preferred

Experience within corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, public accounting, consulting, or commercial real estate preferred; multifamily experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of database structures, financial modeling, Google Sheets, Tableau, Webi, and SAP experience a plus
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years
