Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Knight's Companies is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support various HR functions. The role involves assisting with recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, and maintaining HRIS data, while also contributing to overall HR operations.

Responsibilities
Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures without exception
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while promoting and adhering to company values
Support talent acquisition team with performing interview confirmations, completing pre-employment processes in the time allotted
Administer end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires, including document collection, system set-up and orientation support
Conduct new hire orientation sessions at the Jedburg location
Assist in maintaining employee photos, safety shoe information, company provided phone numbers and email addresses and corrective action memorandums in the HRIS
Review insurance invoices for accuracy, balance, and segment for accounting purposes
Process termination paperwork for departing employees
Provide balance due information for boots and uniforms upon employee termination for payroll processing
Track company store orders and coordinating openings with the Strategic Marketing Coordinator
Monitor and report on quarterly company store purchase and amount spent by employees
Assist employees with questions pertaining to company policies and/or benefits professionally and efficiently. Refer more complex questions to HR Generalists or Director
Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational success
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in HR administration or related administrative role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS)
Ability to work with all levels of the organization, including management team
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds at times (e.g., files, office supplies)
Ability to move around the office to file documents, retrieve supplies, or assist with clerical tasks
Occasional bending, reaching, and standing as needed
