Chief of Staff
The Hire Standard is partnering with a well-funded, fast-scaling AI-native finance technology company to identify a high-impact Chief of Staff to the CEO. The role requires a strategic operator who can translate company strategy into clear operating plans and support high-stakes sales efforts while ensuring alignment and velocity across teams.
Responsibilities
Translate company strategy into clear operating plans, priorities, and internal/board communications
Act as the CEO’s thought partner and execution arm, ensuring focus, alignment, and velocity
Lead and execute cross-functional special projects that unlock revenue, efficiency, or clarity
Support high-stakes sales efforts through deal preparation, customer communications, and bottleneck removal
Serve as connective tissue across teams—surfacing insights, resolving friction, and reinforcing company culture
Shift comfortably between day-to-day execution and long-range strategic planning
Qualification
Required
A track record of meaningful impact across operations, strategy, product, sales, or internal initiatives
Experience (2+ years) in a high-growth tech company, startup, or similarly dynamic environment. Fintech, SaaS, series A or similar
Exceptional organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
Strong analytical judgment with the ability to break down complex problems and drive decisions
Polished written and verbal communication skills, including drafting materials on behalf of leadership
A systems-oriented mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
High accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset; consulting, investing, or founder experience is a plus
Preferred
Tools & Tech: Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, ChatGPT / LLMs, Linear, HubSpot, Gong — and an openness to adopting new tools as the business evolves
