Start in 2026 SummerFargo Park District is seeking a Youth Programs Summer Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in working with a diverse group of learners while creating daily lesson plans and managing program activities.

Responsibilities
Create daily lesson plans
Communicate needs with direct Supervisor
Communicate with our members and guests on a daily basis via in person, on the phone or through our app
Help direct part time staff
Set up and tear down before and after scheduled activities
Help redirect and neutralize child behaviors that may occur
Qualification
Required
Individual must be at least 18 years of age
Individual should be pursuing or have completed a degree in Education, Human Development and Family Sciences or a related field
The student has the ability to work as a team or alone with a group of children
The student has the ability to perform a variety of tasks outside in various climates
The student enjoys being in the company of children, is organized, stays on task and is detail oriented
First Aid, CPR, AED training must be completed before or within 3 months of hire
