Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day education abroad functions and serves as a primary advisor for education abroad program portfolio
Schedules and conducts pre-departure and returnee workshops and orientations for participants
Responsible for application management for education abroad participants via office software (Terra Dotta)
Assists in advising for education abroad scholarship resources/sources
Promotes education abroad on-campus through education abroad events, resource fairs, social media, and classroom presentations
Serves as a liaison to affiliated education abroad partners on and off campus
Mentors education abroad student assistants and volunteers
Ensures activities are in compliance with the industries concepts, practices, and procedures and keeps abreast of best practices and trends in education abroad
Processes transcripts for returnees
Other duties and projects assigned
Qualification
Required
B.A. degree
Experience in the field of international education & advising students with education abroad opportunities
Preferred
Masters degree
4 or more years experience in international higher education
Experience supporting exchange, faculty-led, or customized study abroad programs
Demonstrated experience in evaluating academic records
